The Engine Behind Active Foam Technology
Comegras isn’t just a standard detergent. Instead, it is a chemically engineered Active Foam Agent. In fact, it’s designed specifically for use with Tegras iFoam generators.
Standard liquid degreasers run off vertical surfaces within seconds. Meanwhile, Comegras is formulated to expand into a dense, dry foam when mixed with compressed air.
Why “Dwell Time” Matters
In professional kitchen extract cleaning, gravity is your enemy. Comegras defies gravity by clinging to vertical duct risers, canopy hoods, and fan blades. This extended dwell time allows the ultra-concentrated alkaline formula to sit on the surface. It can then penetrate and saponify stubborn, carbonised grease layers. Manual scraping can’t reach these layers. So, it effectively does the hard work for you, turning solid grease into a liquid sludge that rinses away easily.
High Concentration, Low Cost Per Clean
Because the active foam expands massively in volume, a little goes a long way. This ultra-concentrated formula offers exceptional economy for contractors:
- High Yield: A 10kg jerrycan typically cleans up to three commercial kitchen extraction systems. Of course, this depends on grease levels.
- Zero Waste: Designed for direct suction feed; simply drop the iFoam lance into the jerrycan. There is no need for manual mixing or dangerous pouring.
Protect Your Machinery
Generic, aggressive chemicals can damage the internal pumps, seals, and O-rings of your foaming equipment. Comegras is heavily tested to be tough on grease but safe for the internal components of the iFoam Compact and iFoam Pro. Using the official chemical ensures you maintain your machine’s performance and protect your warranty.
Ideal For:
- Dissolving baked-on carbon deposits.
- Achieving TR19® Grease compliance in inaccessible ducts.
- Heavy-duty industrial food production cleaning.
